Structured experimentation on a live shop
Role
Interim E-Commerce Manager
Jun 2024 to Nov 2024
The situation
A tools and craftsmanship retailer in the middle of a platform migration from Shopware 5 to 6. Revenue had to keep growing in the system that was about to be replaced.
What I owned
- Test cases for new features, first-pass testing during implementation, user acceptance testing with the business departments.
- A/B tests and analytics on the live shop, results fed back into the roadmap.
- Amazon, eBay and Kaufland.de as additional channels, and a cross-channel SEO initiative with an external agency.
Why it matters for you
A small shop, but the attribution is clean. This is the experimentation proof.
Next: Jungheinrich, from information to transaction. Or all work.
Thirty minutes and you will know whether this fits.
Bring the product area that keeps slipping. You get a read on it either way.
