Retainer / Four days per month

Focus

One product area kept moving.

Who this is for

One area of your product needs a decision-maker one day a week: a feature stream, a checkout, an onboarding, an integration. Your team can build, but nobody is deciding what and in which order, and every planning session ends without a call.

Price
6,000 €

per month, net plus VAT. Three-month minimum.

What happens

  1. Every weekOne working day, in your cadence. Planning or refinement with the team, the decisions that came up since last week, the specs for what is next.
  2. Every monthA groomed backlog for the coming month, an updated release-scoped roadmap, and a written check-in on what shipped, what slipped and why.
  3. After three monthsEither the area runs on its own with a clear owner in your team, or we scale to Core, or you hire and I hand over.

What you get

  • One day a week of product ownership for one area.
  • Prioritisation, specs and release scope, in your tools.
  • A weekly written check-in and a monthly decision log.
  • Prototypes where a spec would take longer to argue than to click through.

Terms

Retainers run for a minimum of three months. A six-month commitment reduces the rate by 8 percent, quarterly prepayment by 5 percent. All figures net, plus VAT. Access to your tools and documents from day one is part of the agreement, as is the weekly written check-in. Days are spread across the month, in your cadence.

FAQ

Questions that come up on the first call.

Is one day a week enough?

For one area with a team that can build, yes. Decisions and specs are the bottleneck, not hours. If the area grows or a second team joins, Core is the next step.

Which day?

A fixed weekday, agreed at the start, so the team can plan around it. Urgent questions between days are answered asynchronously.

Minimum term?

Three months. A six-month commitment reduces the rate by 8 percent, quarterly prepayment by 5 percent.
